Taco Thursday

Starting on Thursday February 22 we’ll be doing TACO THURSDAY featuring $4 fry bread tacos (Shrimp, Fresh Chorizo or Pulled Pork) and our special premium margaritas.  Doors open at 4pm.

Friday, February 23:  Songwriter Showcase Redux

We had a fabulous time at our first Songwriter Showcase on January 19. So many of you wanted to do it again that host Bowen Swersey has rounded up another great lineup of local songwriting talent and will put on evening of original works on February 23.  Featured will be Nikolai Fox, Rio Bisbee, Blake Rosso, Cupid’s Quiver (Carl Ferm and Joey DuPuis) and Brittany Parker.  Doors open at 4pm for Happy House, and music starts at 7pm.  Coda will have a full bar and be featuring sausages by Colvard & Co.   $5 cover.

Wednesday, March 7:  Detox – Retox

We’ve invited the fantastic Mary Kate Murray to lead a yoga class to the music of jazz guitarist Ryan Blotnick.   After all that detoxifying yoga, enjoy a sausage, glass of wine or draft beer .  We have Urban Farms Fermentory Kombucha and Ellsworth’s own Fogtown brewery on draft.  There are only 22 mats available so make sure to reserve a spot at marykatemurrayyoga@gmail.com    Tickets are $35 for the evening.  The yoga starts at 4pm and no experience is needed.

Thursday, March 15:  Poetry Slam

In honor of National Poetry Month Coda will host a special Poetry Jam hosted by Weslea Sidon and Bowen Swersey. There will be an open mic for poets, and readings by published authors, tba. Everyone is welcome to read from their own or others’ poetry, as well as just coming to listen and enjoy the great food and drink.

Saturday, March 17:  St. Pat’s Day with The Blake Rosso Band

Party on St. Pat’s Day at Coda with The Blake Rosso Band.  They’re a five-piece Americana band of local talent, bringing foot-stomping energy with their wide array of instruments, strong vocals and distinct musical backgrounds including bluegrass, folk, jazz, theater and heavy metal. Blake Rosso is on guitar and vocals, Jim Coffman on fiddle and mandolin, Beau Lisy on percussion,Brittany Parker on vocals and ukulele and welcoming back Sig Escholtz on bass. Come join us and bring your friends for a fun night of music and dancing.  Doors open at 4pm for Happy Hour and the music starts at 7pm.  $10 cover.

Friday, March 23:  Standup MDI!

We had so much fun at our first Standup night in January that emcee Nicole Ouellette has agreed to do it again.    Ready to get on stage? Prepare your five minute set and come to Coda and make our friendly and welcoming crowd laugh at your stories.
